I had a breakfast yesterday with saltines and ginger ale. I had lunch with red Gatorade. And, I had dinner with chicken noodle soup. Needless to say I was under the weather and am still regaining my strength. Be back soon.

Flatware Frenzy
Happy Monday! The blog has been lacking in the inspiration post department recently. Let's fix that shall we? Talk about attention to detail - I've been noticing a recent trend I dubbed the flatware frenzy. A little paint, a little shimmer, or a little string is all you need to take boring old silver stemware to the next level. Someone has to stand up for the forks and spoons of this world.

Miami Heat
How 'bout this weather? If this is what winter feels like then mother nature can take those 100+ degree summers and shove it. The only thing that's allowed to bring that much heat is this couple from Miami. Mandy and Dominic spent the day with Christine of Rubber Boots Photography with the Deering Estate as their backdrop. After many dinner and a movie dates, Dominic successfully wiped away the "just friends" label. Now this laid back couple is head over heels in love and will marry in September.
The perfect way to wrap up this week, so keep on bringing that Miami heat!

Tulsa Time
Welcome to Thursday dear readers! It's been a fast and furious week but now it's time to slow my roll and get on Tulsa time. Amanda Geier Photography sent over this rustic Oklahoma delight. Ellen and Tom, who met while studying abroad, were married in September under a flowing canopy at Post Oak Lodge. Since Tom proposed in a quaint European town, many of the vintage details were plucked from various thrift stores across the pond. The table linens and vases and even Ellen's ring were found overseas. Shortly after their beautiful nuptials, the couple claimed London as home. Well then, cheerio ol' chaps!

Shop Memento
By a landslide, the most popular post ever on this here blog of mine was about our very own wedding. While I'd love to think y'all just thought I so stunning in my dress; it turns out all of the buzz was generated before I ever even stepped foot into my gown. An outpouring of tweets, comments and too many pins to count have solidified my claim to fame. Behold the holy grail of Southern Aisle, my bridesmaids monogrammed getting ready shirts.
I would have scoffed at the above statements until I got the sweetest note from the most thoughtful wedding vendor, Terri from Shop Memento. She was even so generous to send me a few items in return for the inspiration. (And who am I to turn down a good monogram.) Her Atlanta based shop is filled to the brim with all kinds of monogram goodies. From robes and lingerie bags to aprons and hand towels, you name it and Shop Memento can personalize it. So if you've been on the hunt for white monogrammed men's shirts, then you are in luck because that is the newest item to hit the Shop Memento shelves.
So go on and get 'em while they're hot! Be sure to browse around at their wide selection of wedding gift options. Also available at Shop Memento are cosmetic bags, scarves, slippers, and totes - all of which would make any bride or bridesmaid a very happy camper. A big booming thank you to Terri for cherishing one of my favorite Southern staples - monograms make it personal.

Sweet Thing
Monday, there are no words. Actually there are, you kinda suck. The only thing I can think of to reduce the suckiness is a pretty Southern wedding. Morgan Marie Photography delivered just that when she submitted Rachel & Nathan's Morgantown, Kentucky wedding. This crafty bride along with her mother and sister made everything from the invitations and programs to the favor bags and decorations. They said their "i do's" at the First Baptist Church surrounded by navy and green details.
Like the sign says, love is a sweet thing. Here's to Monday peeps!
Big thanks to Morgan Marie Photography for submitting via Two Bright Lights.
